"Mama Mary" soup

Special turkey meat-filled dumplings suitable for soup

What do you need?

  • 1 package of turkey meatballs Mama Mary
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 peeled carrots, diced
  • 2 medium potatoes, diced
  • 2 chopped garlic cloves
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1.5 liters of water or chicken stock
  • Salt, ground black pepper to taste
  • A little chopped parsley for serving

How to prepare:

  1. Heat a large pot with olive oil, fry the onion until golden.
  2. Add garlic, carrots and potatoes, and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring.
  3. Add tomato paste and mix well.
  4. Add water (or stock), season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.
  5. After boiling, reduce the heat and cook for about 15 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Add the turkey dumplings. Mama Mary And cook according to the instructions on the package (usually 6–8 minutes).
  7. Taste, adjust seasoning – and serve hot with chopped parsley on top.

     

Mama Mary's tip:
Want to make the soup even richer? Add celery and/or zucchini leaves to the pot – it adds freshness and flavor.
